Accommodations:

There are four Guest Houses on the property of Hidden River Events. Renting these accommodations allows you to have extended time on our property and more fun with family and friends who have gathered to celebrate your wedding with you. Our clients have been very pleased with the kind service and the great value we offer to them. One reason why we are able to offer such inclusive packages at reasonable rates is because of these on-site accommodations. Because you can contract with us and allow your guests to reimburse you for the housing or pay us directly on your behalf, we are able to cover our costs, make the profit we need and provide you with a tremendous value. Our housing is modest, neat and tastefully decorated. It’s the perfect setting for immediate relatives to gather and/or for young friends from around the country to utilize while they visit Asheville and celebrate with you. If you contract with us, we will provide you with a floor plan for each home, detailed with exactly what sized beds are in each room, etc. What follows is a general description of each home:

Hidden River Housing Descriptions

There are four (4) units at Hidden River.  All together they can accommodate 44-48 guests in beds or sleeper sofas.

The Sleeping and bathroom Arrangements are as follows:

The White House:  (16 person capacity)  There are four bedrooms and a sleeping porch with 2.5 baths (one tub, one shower).  Two bedrooms have two double beds.  Two bedrooms have one double bed and the sleeping porch has two twin beds and a regular sofa.  The Living Room has a sleeper sofa and a comfortable recliner chair.  This unit sleeps sixteen (16) guests.  TV and VCR (with cable) (possible wireless internet access…we are working on this right now), place settings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass coffee mugs) for 20 guests, with linens, pillows, and bath towels for sixteen (16) guests.  There is also limited cooking equipment and a gas grill on the side yard.

The Overlook Apartment:  (8 person capacity) There are two bedrooms and one full bath (shower only).  One bedroom has two double beds, the other has one double bed.  The living room has a sleeper sofa for a total of eight (8) guests.  Unit comes with coffee maker, microwave, TV and VCR (no cable) (possible wireless internet access…we are working on this right now), place settings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass coffee mugs) for 10 guests, with linens, pillows, and bath towels for 8 guests.  There is also limited cooking equipment.  (4 person capacity:) If available (might not be known until closer to event date), client can also reserve the Bridal Changing studio that is on the first floor of this unit.  It has two sleeper sofas, a microwave, a refrigerator, dining table, linens, towels, and pillows for four.  There is an ironing board and iron.  There are no food preparation items, plates or dishes in this unit.

The Guest House:  (7 person capacity)  There are two bedrooms.  One has a queen bed, the other has a double bed and a regular sofa.  The Living Room has a sleeper sofa for two, bringing this unit to a seven (7) person capacity.  Unit comes with coffee maker, microwave, TV and VCR (no cable) (possible wireless internet access…we are working on this right now), place settings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass coffee mugs) for 10 guests, with linens, pillows, and bath towels for 7 guests.  There is also limited cooking equipment.

The Field House:  (13 person capacity)  There are three bedrooms.  One bedroom has two double beds, another has one double bed, and the last one has 1 twin and 1 double bed.  There are two sofa couches in the living room. The total capacity for this unit is thirteen (13) guests.  There will be some sort of game equipment in this house.  (We’re working on this now, i.e. ping pong table, etc.)  Unit comes with coffee maker, microwave, TV and VCR (possibly cable) (possible wireless internet access…we are working on this right now), place settings (glass plates, bowls, ball jar glasses, and glass coffee mugs) for 20 guests, with linens, pillows, and bath towels for 13 guests.  There is also limited cooking equipment and a weber grill.
