A Different kind of Asheville Wedding Venue

Hidden River Events is more than just a beautiful Asheville wedding venue to host your dream wedding. HRE gives you the ability to actually enjoy your engagement and time leading up to tying the knot. What separates them from the others? HRE takes the burden of making decisions off your shoulders with their all-inclusive packages. They have established relationships with vendors in the area so you don’t have to worry about the details. Instead of spending months sampling cakes and pricing caterers, HRE already knows who can make your wedding dreams come to fruition.

Our Team

What makes Hidden River Events so special is its team of professionals. Owner Jeane Sommers Ph.D. has over three decades of experience officiating over weddings. She understands what makes a ritual meaningful and special.
When you have a wedding at Hidden River Events, Grace Gilles will be the glue that holds everything together. Grace is the event manager that will keep track of all the little details and make the magic happen. She takes the worry about vendors and set up off your shoulders so you can enjoy the experience with your guests.

Something For Everyone

The real magic of a wedding held at Hidden River Events is the financial savings, elimination of stress, and being in the caring hands of the staff during this important time in your life. Hidden River Events is minutes from Asheville, NC and all that city has to offer. From outdoor activities like hiking to breweries, art, to fine dining-Asheville has so much to offer you and your guests. Hidden River Events has the ability to host up to 80 people on site for several days so you can really focus on two families coming together. All-inclusive means you can have every facet of your wedding from the rehearsal dinner to the reception in the competent hands of their professionals.

Choices
Hidden River Events has a choice of ceremony sites to make your dreams a reality. They have floral gardens, river settings, ponds, and open fields under a wide-open mountain sky to choose from. They also are the only wedding venue to feature Dr. Love, the old draft horse that pulls a classic surrey wagon, on staff.

We Specialize in All-Inclusive

At first, we thought all-inclusive meant just having all the infrastructure ready to go for the couple, so what looks like such a simply beautiful, largely outdoor wedding could be as clean and simple as the lines of the tent.  There should be no hassles about getting in all the infrastructure and having it ready for your wedding. We did not want to witness a rental truck showing up at the last minute and a mom or bridesmaid, or the couple themselves, setting up chairs and tables–even mowing the yard–on the morning of the wedding.  These were all things Jeanne witnessed repeatedly over the years. No wonder people were exhausted before their wedding even began…
