Many venues use the phrase to mean little more than the venue, tables, and chairs. At Hidden River Events, it means nearly everything you’ll need for a complete wedding weekend—from planning and flowers to photography, catering, setup, cleanup, and so much more.

Ceremony Sites

Choose from five beautiful ceremony locations:

  • Beside the Swannanoa River
  • Pondside among perennial gardens
  • The Marrying Field with sweeping mountain views
  • The Cut Flower Garden
  • Beneath our majestic Sycamore Tree

Each ceremony site includes a decorative arbor.

Architectural Event Tent

Celebrate beneath our architecturally beautiful permanent event tent featuring:

  • Permanent concrete foundation
  • Electricity and lighting
  • Climate protection
  • Catering tent
  • Vintage bar and buffet
  • Modern restrooms
  • Beautiful décor

Onsite Vacation Rental Housing

Saturday Wedding Packages include three nights of onsite accommodations (Thursday–Saturday) for up to 35 overnight guests in four beautifully furnished vacation homes.

Included homes:

  • Overlook – Sleeps 7
  • White House – Sleeps 16
  • Quartz Mountain – Sleeps 10

Each home includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels, and everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Professional Event Management

From the moment you book until your final guest departs, you’ll have an experienced Event Manager by your side.

Your Event Manager will:

  • Guide you through planning
  • Maintain your shared planning documents
  • Coordinate vendors
  • Manage timelines
  • Communicate with our venue staff
  • Oversee your wedding day from beginning to end

Our goal is simple:

You enjoy your wedding while we manage the details.

Locally Grown Flowers

Whenever possible we use flowers grown on the property.

Our base floral package includes:

  • Bridal bouquet
  • Two bridesmaids’ bouquets
  • Three boutonnieres
  • Cake flowers
  • Reception centerpieces

Additional bouquets, arbor flowers, corsages, flower crowns, floral dog collars, and other custom floral designs are available.

Photography

Our photography package includes:

  • Four hours of professional photography
  • Choice of several photographers
  • Professional editing and artistic retouching
  • High-resolution digital images
  • Personal printing rights

Additional photography hours may be added.

Catering

Unless you choose an outside caterer, your package includes one of our popular catered meals.

Choose from favorites including:

  • BBQ Buffet
  • Mountain Elegance Menu
  • Italian Pasta Buffet

Menus may be upgraded or customized.

Dessert

Choose from:

  • Traditional wedding cake
  • Cutting cake with cupcakes
  • Individual cakes
  • Pie Bar

Welcome Dinner & Rehearsal Celebration

Saturday Wedding Packages include use of our beautiful reception tent for a Welcome Dinner at no additional site fee.

Whether you envision a catered dinner, food truck, barbecue, pizza night, or casual family gathering, you’re free to create an evening that reflects your style.

Many couples tell us their Welcome Dinner becomes one of their favorite memories of the entire weekend.

Bridal Changing Studio

Prepare for your wedding in a peaceful, beautifully appointed changing suite featuring:

  • Spacious dressing area
  • Mirrors
  • Private bathroom
  • Refrigerator
  • Microwave
  • Coffee maker
  • Comfortable seating

The studio can also be divided so both partners may prepare privately while remaining in the same space if desired.

Horse & Carriage

Arrive in style behind Sophia, our gentle Suffolk Punch draft horse.

Choose from our elegant white Vis-à-Vis carriage or our charming Surrey.

After your ceremony, enjoy a private “Victory Lap” together before returning to celebrate with your guests.

Setup, Cleanup & Everything In Between

Our team takes care of the details so you don’t have to.

Included are:

  • Complete setup and cleanup

  • Linens
  • Trash removal
  • Firewood for fire pits
  • Bar ice
  • Access to our décor collection
  • Sheets and towels for onsite lodging
  • Coordination with Weinhaus for discounted beer, wine, champagne, keg delivery, and tap rentals
