An Elopement Wedding on Valentine’s Day
WEDDING SPOTLIGHT: Chris and Cindy’s Elopement Wedding
What could be more romantic than having your wedding on Valentine’s Day? Having your Elopement Wedding on Valentine’s Day! This past Friday we had our very first Valentine’s Day wedding and it was beautiful. For a lot of couples, the main reason they chose to elope was that they wanted the opportunity to really focus on intimate, intentional moments during their wedding day, and they didn’t feel that a larger, more traditional wedding would afford them those moments. February in the mountains can be tricky to predict, but this Valentine’s Day was ideal. A crisp, clear mountain day with the sun shining down on the happy couple, Cindy and Chris. They wanted their elopement wedding to be as intimate as possible, just the two of them (Aside from our staff, including an officiant, a photographer, and a witness).
The bride chose a bouquet adorned with white lilies and succulents. Their fully-topped arbor consisted of white hydrangeas, red carnations, and fuchsia roses. They celebrated with a cake (for two) and champagne. They stayed with us for 4 nights at the cozy and romantic Tiny Cottage. This was an extra special treat for them since they don’t normally find the time in their busy schedules to getaway. They have never been to Asheville before and luckily found time to explore. Rosilene Passolt photographed this special moment in their lives and captured their happiness!
